Demo-to-Source Notes
- Webcam-Streaming-WebRTC is a multi-mode app. The live-streaming, video-call, and random-chat demos use the same repository with different views.
- Webcam-Microphone-Screen-Recorder is the newer, broader media-capture option for webcam, microphone, screen, and combined-source workflows.
- Cam-Recorder-HTML5-Video-Audio remains useful as the established PHP/HTML5 recording reference implementation.
- The 2-Way Videochat random demo is distributed through the Webcam 2Way Videochat WordPress plugin rather than listed here as a standalone GitHub repository.

Repositories that require live streaming infrastructure can be evaluated with a Developers streaming plan. Register through Consult VideoWhisper and confirm current plan limits before production planning.
Implementation Notes
Open-source repositories are useful for evaluation, prototypes, integrations, and custom builds. Production deployments may additionally require HTTPS, STUN/TURN, streaming relay or HLS services, authentication, access control, storage, moderation, monetization, monitoring, and platform integration.
